Mind over matter?

 Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, 

Destroyed here means cut off. ✂️.  There's only two ways to think. We can listen to the enemy's lies: Fear, condemnation, self hatred, etc. If we do, that will be our Truth. Or we can listen to the Voice of Truth that refutes these lies and walk in Freedom. 

The sad part is that when we're listening to death we really believe that these thoughts are coming from ourselves.  The truth is, however, that we have no original thoughts. We can, though, choose who we will listen to. Joshua: I set before you life or death.  Choose ye this day the way you shall go. May we all Choose well!

Are you ready to eat?

 "Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give glory unto Him, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. And is was given her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints" Revelation 19:7-8

My mom's family always had the zaniest times at their reunions. We played volleyball all day, had great conversations and, of course, good food. Those reunions are now only in the past. Only two of my Mom's sisters are still with us. But for those of us so bidden, there will yet be another reunion in the future. For we've been invited to the Great Feast. Jesus has returned with His saints. He has routed His enemies, and has "begun to reign". The Psalmist tells us that "Those who sow in tears shall reap with sounds of joy" (126:5-6). 

Sadly, not everyone will be there. In the parable of the 10 virgins, only five had prepared themselves for the groom's arrival. They had arrayed themselves with the fine linen of their righteous acts. They had the anointing oil which came from abiding in His presence. The other five found themselves on the outside looking in. 

The Bride of Christ had "made herself ready". Have we? Are we all ready to sit down to eat?
