 ‭But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.‭ 

ACTS 20:24

Our church service was cancelled due to road conditions yesterday. Jeff's sermon was to have been on Evangelism.  This is the cry of my heart for 24. So I was chagrin that I didn't get to hear him. If the enemy is actively resisting us, I am greatly encouraged.  His opposition only confirms what God is doing. We must not give up.

‭ΚΑΤΑ ΙΩΑΝΝΗΝ‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭TR1624‬

[14] και ο λογος σαρξ εγενετο και εσκηνωσεν εν ημιν και εθεασαμεθα την δοξαν αυτου δοξαν ως μονογενους παρα πατρος πληρης χαριτος και αληθειας 

The LORD has impressed this verse on my heart for 2024. He became flesh. He pitched His tent among us. We beheld Him, His Glory, unique from the Father, full of grace and truth.

I don't want to share a message about Jesus. My heart is to share my communion with Him, His very Life, with whoever God leads me to this year. John later writes " that which we have seen, touched, concerning the Word of Truth, we share with you ". 

LORD, I am but a vessel. This year may you reach hearts who may be burned out on religion but who truly desire the real thing. Amen.
