The best for last

 and saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

John 2:10 KJV

Many times I feel like I walk alone. This is not true, for He has promised me that He is always with me. I feel as if my life has been a tragic waste of the talents God gave me. Like Elijah, I would just want to go home, to be relieved of my burden.

I just listened to the Pause app, Today's passage was on water turning to wine. The story of the wedding at Cana is inany ways my story. I feel like I've lived unfruitfully and nothing else is possible. "Not so fast" says Jesus. "I have saved the best for last". Has He not been with me at every step? In the last days, will He not pour out the new wine of His Spirit on all flesh? The young men will see visions. The old men will dream dreams. Amen. Why dream if your life is done? No, as Tony C used to preach, " it's Friday, but Sunday is coming".  Lord, help me to remember this always. You will yet visit me in the land of the living.
